Chi Kung – Personal Practice

Chi Kung is an ancient practice that can assist us in deepening self-awareness, understanding our body’s internal mechanisms and energy flows, as well as helping us to gain clarity in relation to the fundamental nature of existence.

It can be cultivated as an individual practice and a shared practice. As a shared practice we can support each other to gain access to energies that we may not be able to access in solo cultivation.

There are many branches to chi-kung including movement and meditation.

One of the primary focuses of Chi Kung is cleansing of our organs of emotional debris. The Inner Smile is a simple yet profound practice that can facilitate this. Once the organs have been cleansed, the virtues of each organ can be cultivated to ultimately distill an elixir which can be used for a multitude of purposes including the healing of self and others.

Chi Nei Tsang

Chi Nei Tsang is a style of Chi Kung bodywork that involves massage of the abdomen to help release blockages on a physical as well as energetic level.
The abdomen can be a storehouse of emotional stress as well as a storehouse of spiritual energy. Conscious touch can assist in re-informing cells to a higher frequency of ease and flow thus facilitating the release of unwanted, stored patterns.
Benefits can include improved digestion and elimination, the easing of menstrual tensions, greater comfort and relaxing of the emotional body, improved circulation and general relaxation.

Holistic Pulsing

Holistic Pulsing is a form of bodywork that encourages the body to relax and release, through gentle rocking motions.

Similar to how we would rock a baby. Very soothing, and deeply comforting.

Your body is pulsed, rocked rhythmically, in a connected and flowing way. It is like the waves on the ocean.

Hawaiian Bodywork

The form of bodywork developed by ancient Hawaiians reflects their deep understanding of the nature of human body and consciousness as well as our deep connection to nature. It is, in some ways, a martial art form wherein the person giving, also receives due to the focused nature of the movements.

It is one of the few modalities where the emphasis is on the internal application of technique rather than on curing a visible malady.

Consciousness is at the root of our perceptions. What we see in another is that which is with ourselves.

Zen Thai Shiatsu – Shiatsu

Zen Thai Shiatsu is recent synthesis of Shiatsu and Thai Yoga Massage generally done on a mat. The body is moved into various positions that enhance access and receptivity of acupressure points.

It is both deeply relaxing and releasing.

Other influences include; Swedish massage, kinesiology, Thai yoga massage, Karsai Nei Tsang, Shibari and the Wheel of Consent.
